Meet Flora

How it started

I have always been an artist - both an illustrator and a classical musician. Before stationery, I already knew the wedding world well as I have been performing during ceremonies since I was 14. I love weddings. It's such an amazing thing to witness and be part of two people committing their lives to each other. Of course... I also love all the champagne and the party!!

I was planning my own wedding in 2022, and visited the place we had chosen to get married for the first time. I was so excited about getting married and how beautiful it all was that I painted the venue, just for fun. It was actually my husband-to-be's idea to use that painting on our invites! 

We were having a smaller wedding in the south of France, and every detail was very personalised, which is why for us it didn't feel right to use an online template or just stick to a wedding website. Making all the stationery by hand was a bit of a crazy undertaking with only a few months until the wedding, but I'm so glad I did. It set the tone for the whole event, and meant all our guests were as excited as we were about spending a few days in this magical overgrown old chateau.
